GenEd Requirements for Graduation

All students graduating in 2005 or later and starting in Fall 2001 or later with a baccalaureate degree must meet the General Education requirements!

ECET students are required to take 6 humanities electives (2 associate and 4 bachelors).  Students must carefully choose these electives to satisfy the following BoK requirements:

  1. Diversity and Culture (DC)

Students must take a course or have an approved equivalent experience that satisfies the Diversity and Culture requirement.

  1. Social and Ethical Issues (SE)

Students must take a course or have an approved equivalent experience that satisfies the Social and Ethical Issues requirement.

  1. Fine Arts (FA), Historical Perspective (HP), and Literature (LT)

Students must take courses in two of these three areas.

Important Notes

§         All H/SS courses are now coded in Learning Opportunities according to which BoK requirements they satisfy.
